October 14th, 2007 Cyana Trendlab :: Centre

The good people over at Cyana Trendlab were kind enough to give Centre a quick mention last week HERE. Check out their site, which is relatively new, but jam-packed with info ranging from high fashion to THIS:

“If you feel like quitting cigarettes, and like futuristic websites
You should check QUITDOINGIT , an AMAZING website with interesting info…”

One a related note, while Centre doesnt endorse smoking, is a website (that cost tens (probably hundreds) of thousands of dollars to make, really going to make anyone quit?

October 14th, 2007 Global Incident Map

A friend passed on this really interesting, interactive map based off of the Google platform that, in real time, displays the locations of incidences around the world. The site is called globalincidentmap.com; its got a fairly rough layout and navigation, but gets the news bulletins across in a rather new manner. Overall, it’s pretty cool to put a story with a location. Now if they, like most other media outlets, would show us positive developments around the world.
